Design

The Isotop® MSN-BL, BL and BL/DSD vibration-isolators consist of two steel plates with a set of springs of different types between them, from MSN/KTL 1-9, SD/KTL 1-9, DSD 1-9 in 2, 4, 6, and 9 springs per block are available. The number of springs depends on the intended load.
Non-standard versions are also available upon request. All blocks are painted for high resistance to corrosion.


Application

Depending on the load, the Isotop® Block vibration-isolators, has a natural frequency from: 3,2 Hz for MSN-BL, 3,0 Hz for BL, and higher and for the BL/DSD 4 to 6 Hz. They are used for fixing to the equipment foundations: 

  • Compressors,

  • Ventilators,

  • Air conditioners,

  • Crushers, grinders,

  • Presses,

  • Speakers,

  • Sensitive electronics,

  • Measurement instruments and scales,

  • Control cabinets,

  • Pumps,

  • Textile machines,

  • Conveyors,

  • Other machines and devices, especially ones with low vibration frequency.

  • Weight of the machine/device,

  • Number and positioning of the fulcrums,

  • Positioning of the centre of mass,

  • Dimensions of the machine/device,

  • Load direction (vertical, horizontal),

  • Lowest vibration frequency (No. of rotations or cycles).

Notes about the selection table

Due to the possibility of using different springs from the same series (e.g. SD 1 to SD 8) together, virtually all requirements from the nominal load values given above can be met.

When ordering, you need to provide the nominal load on the vibration-isolator. We will select the right springs for you.
