 Design

The Isotop® SD spring vibro-isolators consist of two plate bases with an internal M10 thread and a cylindrical coil spring (according to the DIN EN 13906-1:2001 norm. Tolerance values according to DIN 20950). The plate bases are permanently fixed to the coil spring with a special two-component compound. The vibro-isolators can be protected against corrosion through either galvanisation or cataphoretic coating (KTL) in RAL 9005 colour paint (jet black). Other paint colours are also available.

Application

The Isotop® SD spring vibro-isolators have a natural frequency of 3.0 Hz and higher (under nominal load) and are used for the foundation of:

  • compressors,
  • ventilators,
  • air conditioners,
  • crushers,
  • speaker sets,
  • sensitive electronic devices,
  • measurement instruments and scales,
  • pumps,
  • emergency power generators,
  • other machines and devices,
  • especially ones with low vibration frequency.

 Information necessary for product selection:

  • weight of the machine/device,
  • number and positioning of the fulcrums,
  • positioning of the centre of mass,
  • dimensions of the machine/device,
  • load direction (vertical, horizontal),
  • lowest vibration frequency (No. of rotations or cycles).

  • interchangeability due to the same size and threaded connections,
  • the open design of the isolator allows for effortlessly checking the spring’s condition and the distance between its coils,
